Algerian weddings outifts

I had the pleasure to receive wedding outfits from a maison de couture in Algeria called Atelier Hafida, I am not a traditional person so it is kind of awkward for me to wear traditional algerian outfits however; I thought that the hand work made on the dresses was quite great so I featured the dresses on the blog. Hafida is an algerian mother of two that has been sewing since she was 16 and that took Singer sewing classes in Paris during her youth. She mades dresses to order for weddings and functions in Algiers and work for a lot of clients abroad as well.

Hijabies style

Another side of Paris

Dear all; I am finally back on the blogosphere ... Today I went for a walk in a different part of Paris, in the 18th district, a part called Barbes. This quarter is very north african and being french algerian, it feels like I am in algeria without having to fly there lol. You can find all types of thing there; food, wedding supplies; halal meat, north african sweets; fabric and so on. To give you an idea, check the pics out, xoxo

DUBAI ART NIGHTS in DIFC and Hamdan's concert.

So yesterday I attended Dubai Art Night, in DIFC where all the art galleries openned during the evening and welcomed art lovers. The event was really nice as I got to see really interesting art pieces as well as enjoy an outdoor concert of a local artist that I didn't know. His name is Hamdan and he has an incredible voice. Check it out :
